Guess Who!

So careless, so carefree, so impromptu,

Yet careful and so conscious,

So imaginative so diligent,

So energetic, so many achievements,

So judiciously sound… well compared to us,

So truthful, such command, so honest,

Such communication, such ambition,

Such pride and authority, yet so attentive,

Not especially astute to begin with,

Yet intellect filled to capacity,

All available knowledge in use,

Brain functioning at peak efficiency,

Much success using little intellect,

Who am I speaking of?

Little kids at play,

Little kids at play,

Oh to be as complete as a little kid always.

Super String on Wood and Marble Revealed

Scientific theorists have extended an offer to mathematical physics that the proof of nature may be unable to refute. It's called string theory. Many physicists desire that their understanding of string theory (M-Theory) matures into the Holy Grail of physics; A.K.A. the TOE or Theory of Everything.

Such a theory seeks to explain and unify all of nature's fundamental interactions within the framework of higher dimensional space-time (hyperspace). These interactions are typically named:

  • gravity
    (an illusion)
  • the
    strong nuclear force
(prevents your guts from flying off your bones)
  • the
    weak nuclear force
    (the sun's cigarette lighter)
  • and the electromagnetic force, of which PG&E is the chief beneficiary (Aargh!).

The TOE should also explain the spectrum of elementary particles. Elementary particle relationships, like the Positron-Electron Annihilation, have enabled scientists to research, among other issues, Alzheimer's disease. Understanding the vast spectrum of elementary particles may also provide a telescopic lens into the distant past: thus illustrating the events that took place near the inception of time.

Superstring on Wood and Marble was conceived from my collective understanding of superstring theory within the construct of creation. Let me show you a line by line, stanza by stanza breakdown of my poem so that you get a clearer picture of what I mean.

Superstring on Wood and Marble

Revealed

The universe is a symphony,

The space-time continuum is comprised of a variegated assortment of matter. Matter is composed of elementary particles: which are comprised of strings.

Each particle to its own resonance,

In the universe exists numerous particles which perform a variety of functions. The vibration of the string—its resonance—determines a string's function.

Then its own frequency,

Frequency in string theory refers to a string's fundamental resonant pattern.

Combining for a chorus,

Distinct strings play different notes. Strings and their frequencies unite to amplify a multiplicity of sounds. So that the perceptible difference between your car and your baby is due to strings vibrating at different frequencies.

Separating like Beyonce,

They also split apart (like a group member making a solo album) or harmonize to form Sub-Atomic Voltron..! but more likely to form your desk, yacht, or whatever.

Infinite is the number of songs a violin can play,

Atoms are tinie tiny, protons/neutrons are 100,000 times smaller, but strings are even smaller. Picture the size of an ant (string), a planet (proton), and the solar system (atom).

Infinite also the amount of matter,

Strings can produce an infinite number of concrete stuff. (There is also a hypothesis called dark matter: which relates to less tangible stuff.)

Or harmonies shall we say,

In string theory, harmony is analogous to matter.

Built supreme with superstrings,

If this theory is correct, God used strings to build the once perfect heavens and the earth. His use of strings would be synonymous to a carpenter using a hammer to build a house.

Before God's holy day.

According to the book of Genesis, God created the heavens and earth in six days but kicked back on the seventh day.

Well there you have it. A behind the scenes look at my poem entitled, Superstring on Wood and Marble: Which reminds me, I need to elaborate on the title. So you kinda have an idea about superstring theory so let's take a look at two other words in the title; wood and marble.

Einstein used general relativity as the vehicle to peruse the TOE. In g-rel (general relativity) he suggested that geometry (the mathematical tool the Egyptians used to build pyramids) is marble while matter is wood. (A lesser known physicist named Heisenberg stumbled upon a rather accurate theory styled quantum mechanics—which turned into the arch rival of general relativity: more on Heisenberg later.) Einstein's presuppositions lead him to pursue the TOE from the perspective of marble rather than wood. What is wood? "Wood" is matter.

Because Einstein considered marble or geometry, to be beautiful (that's physics for conceptually elegant) and wood or matter to be ugly (physics for mathematically messy), his logical extension was that the TOE—a complete description of the structure of space-time—must be founded in geometry/marble rather than matter/wood. To Einstein's chagrin, q-mach (quantum mechanics) was a completely wooden theory! That is to say that q-mach is a theory which uses matter and atoms instead of geometry to describe the structure of space-time.

String theory seeks to unite several prominent theories including general relativity—which describes the universe on a grand or cosmic scale and q-mach—which describes the universe on a small or atomic scale. In my study of the Word of God I have found many verses that seem to lend validity to string theory. I hope to share my findings with you in the posts to come. It is my desire to contribute to this potentially divine scientific revolution.
